In a fresh day of October of last year, we met Arianna, a young master’s degree student in Communication, Assessment and Social Research for Organizations at Sapienza University of Rome. Surfing on the web, she had discovered the rewilding approach for the conservation and promotion of nature and she had got curious about it.Then, she contacted Rewilding Europe to ask whether carrying out a thesis in the Central Apennines and, so, she found Rewilding Apennines and Salviamo l’Orso. Her passion for nature and her sensitiveness towards our programs led her to carry out a research pretty new for her academic department. Participating personally in all the field activities, she collected many data in order to assess the rewilding actions, the approach to the nature-based enterprise and the communication, especially with the local communities.
After one year, on the last October 21st, our friend Arianna graduated! Congratulations from all of us and thank you for sharing your experience and your so encouraging results!
