In recent days, three wolves have been found dead, very presumably poisoned, in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, while the Carabinieri Forestali and the park rangers have reported two men for illegal logging in the very core of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise NP.
Sadly, ruthless people have thought of taking advantage of the ongoing national health emergency to damage the natural environment. We believe the authorities in charge will be able to prevent and prosecute these crimes even in such a difficult time.
