The European Wilderness Society dedicates an article on its website to the work for the conservation of the bear and its habitat that our association has carried out so far also in collaboration with Rewilding Apennines. The wild nature of the Central Apennines is an undisputed quality brand for our territory that does not go unnoticed by foreign environmental protection organizations to the extent that the European Wilderness Society has identified one of its wilderness areas in the Majella National Park in Europe.
This should make all local citizens and policymakers proud and aware of the enormous material and immaterial value of the naturalistic heritage of which they are custodians.
