We appreciate the courtesy and acknowledgement that the installation of the new wildlife barrier network, over 2 meters high and with foundations of 60 x 70 cm, will be completed by the end of the summer.
The 4 km of barriers being installed in the Municipality of Ortona dei Marsi are therefore only the first step in an overall safety of the motorways with respect to their accessibility to wildlife. For the remaining 83 km, Strada dei Parchi undertook the pre-emptive design of all the interventions, for which the approval of the Head commissioner was requested several times: Strada dei Parchi is ready to start immediately on the works on receipt of the authorization from the Commissioner.
