The goal of € 30.000 to complete “Una strada a prova d’orso” project is still a long way off, despite the donations of so many of you who have supported us in the last two months.
A private sponsor had committed to funding half of the cost of the fence (€60,000), but under one condition: Salviamo l’Orso had to collect another €30.000, among its members, friends and supporters.
Unfortunately, we didn’t collect all the money. But we have good news: the sponsor will donate in any case € 30,000 allowing us to pay the company that has made the work. In fact, the fence has been completed! We have done our best to build it very quickly. Next months, we will make the work even safer.
Thanks to all those who gave us the opportunity to collect over € 18.000. Everybody’s help was crucial to complete the work. We will continue to commit to road safety, to reduce road accidents with wildlife to a minimum.
