Today Salviamo l’Orso volunteer, Paula Mayer, took First Place Overall Female in the Roccaraso Trail 24 km Race! This 1,630m vertical mountain race took place in a wildlife corridor zone between Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park and Majella National Park. She dedicated her run to bring awareness to the importance of wildlife corridors and for the coexistence between humans and bears in this region! Thank you very much, Paula! We are so proud of you!
