We are carrying on our action for the prevention of conflicts between farmers and bears for the project “Bear Smart Community Valle Roveto – Ernici”, sponsored by the International Association for Bear Research and Management. Yesterday our volunteers and, Pietrantonio, bear ambassador for Rewilding Apennines, erected an electric fence to protect a farm with poultry and sheep in the area of Capistrello. This is the sixth fence we have built in Valle Roveto in 2019.
