Yesterday morning we hosted around 70 children at the Bear Museum from the kindergarten and primary schools of Cerro al Volturno, Colli al Volturno and Rocchetta al Volturno. The pupils and their teachers attend an educative project called “The bear amongst myths, stories and legends”, led by Antonella and Jessica, environmental educators and guides, charged by the Authority of Abruzzo, Lazio e and Molise National Park.
The children made the discovery of the bear, of its senses and some peculiarities of its biology through stories, museum exhibits and imitations – even sound-like! Then, they appreciated the reading of a tale, interpreted by… an unusual female bear! Moreover, the park rangers Davide and Valerio walked along with the kids on a path at direct contact with nature.
