The video we publish today seems to be “out of season”, however it wants to be a good omen for this hyperphagic autumn… We hope that the Marsican bears – especially the female bears – are feeding enough to go hibernating and to deal well with the winter. Indeed, this is a crucial period so that the mating that occurred during the spring and summertime goes with a good end: the more calories a female bear is able to accumulate in this period, the greater the reproductive success, with the birth of up to three cubs in the den during the winter.
