Ten days ago, before Abruzzo was included among the orange regions in the measures to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, we returned to Pagliare di Tione for pruning fifteen abandoned appletrees. It is an action that we have been carrying out since 2014 for “The Bear’s track” project, in collaboration with the Sirente Velino Regional Park, to preserve this precious food resource for the Marsican bear in a highly suitable area of its distribution range.
