Every year at the beginning of spring the volunteers of Salviamo l’Orso start pruning. The aim of this action is to preserve the productivity of fruit trees.
By keeping abandoned orchards profitable, we preserve the natural resources that the bear can find in the natural environment, far from inhabited areas. Through this action we hope to encourage the bear’s expansion towards new areas, since the bear goes where food takes it!
