Knowledge exchange with other projects is part of the LIFE Bear Smart Corridors (Action E7).
At the beginning of June, Salviamo l’Orso and Rewilding Apennines travelled to Slovenia, where they participated in a 5-day workshop on coexistence with large carnivores organized by the Life Lynx Project.
The participation of associations and organizations from all over Europe made this experience an invaluable opportunity for the enhancement of skills and enriching the discussion on the different approaches to human-wildlife coexistence, the tools for conflict mitigation, and the best practices in communication.
We are back and filled with new ideas that we can’t wait to develop and put into practice toward our vision of an ever-better coexistence with bears.
