We were happy and proud to hear the life stories of our volunteers, their training experiences and the socio-cultural interactions of their volunteer period with Salviamo l’Orso.
This event “The strength of volunteering at the service of nature and the community. Day of meeting and exchange between volunteers and citizens in the Bear Smart Community Genzana ”, was held on Thursday 28 July 2022 at 6 pm at the Cantelmo Castle in Pettorano sul Gizio.
May the Genzana Bear Smart Community always know how to welcome young people from all across Europe. They see in the presence and conservation of the Marsican brown bear, as well as other species of wildlife, the main reasons for working together with us for the protection of this iconic species and its habitat!
The event was organized together with Rewilding Apennines, the Monte Genzana Alto Gizio Reserve, Valleluna Cooperative and the Municipality of Pettorano Sul Gizio.
