On Jan. 3, environmental education activities of the Drop by Drop project, funded by EOCA European Outdoor Conservation Association, on the importance of wetlands resumed.
Hosted by the Oak Chamois Visitor Center, we welcomed more than ten children of different ages with whom we discovered the importance of these reservoirs of life, noble filters for the air we breathe, and got to know some of their inhabitants such as salamanders, newts, toads and yellow-bellied howlers.
These areas, which are slowly disappearing, are often little known and ignored. Thanks to this initiative, we trust that new generations can become its conscious custodians.
A calendar of upcoming events will be available soon.
