On the weekend of April 13-14 at the San Mauro agriturismo in Vastogirardi, the annual meeting of Salviamo l’Orso was held, an opportunity to take stock of its activities and ongoing projects.
This year we chose the territory of Alto Molise because of the activities that Salviamo l’Orso is carrying out in this area of connection between the Abruzzo Lazio e Molise National Park and the Maiella National Park, in particular the LIFE Bear-Smart Corridors project, but also the management of the “Le Macchietelle” Reserve, in agreement with Naturetrek Wildlife Holidays, where on Sunday 14 the members in attendance made an exciting inspection on a warm, sunny day where they were able to admire the splendor of nature in full bloom, characterized by mixed forests of beech, hornbeam, holly and majestic white spruce.
We are happy to be engaged in an area so rich in biodiversity and to be able to involve more and more people in our conservation mission.
