With the first Sunday in April, the Museum is open again and awaits your visit every Sunday to discover the fascinating world of the Marsican brown bear and its habitat.
It is one of our heart places because it holds many challenges:
– Awareness-raising and outreach on the protection of bears and their habitat to an increasingly broad and diverse audience.
– The opening of Pizzone’s Bear-Smart Community info point service in the near future, thanks to the LIFE Bear-Smart Corridors.
– A gateway for visitors to the beautiful wilderness area of the Molise Mainarde Mountains in the Abruzzo Latium and Molise National Park.
– A small treasure chest open to the public in a delightful but increasingly underpopulated village where even minimal services are suffering.
– A meeting place where there is always an SLO member who voluntarily devotes his or her Sunday to welcoming and guiding visitors on a path full of knowledge, surprises, exchanges and emotions!
What are you waiting for? Come and visit us!
We are there every Sunday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm!
Visit us and be thrilled by the beauty of nature!
