We present the latest developments in the lives of the young bear sons of Amarena. Over the past month, the pups have continued their journey of growth and exploration of their surroundings. Their presence was more evident at some times, while at others they only left signs of their passage. They are now about 11 months old and their appearance has changed considerably. They are now approaching adulthood, and while retaining their natural curiosity, they are showing fewer and fewer puppy traits.
Increasingly erratic weather conditions have affected the bears’ behavior. The arrival of the first snow on the mountains seemed to indicate an imminent period of hibernation. However, with the return of milder weather, they were observed again, engaged in their feeding and resting activities.
We hope that temperatures will drop further, allowing them to find a suitable shelter for hibernation, following their innate instincts and natural biological cycles.
As for the investigation into Amarena’s death, it is still ongoing, handled by the Avezzano Public Prosecutor’s Office. At the end of this phase, we will have more information on the results of the investigation and any charges against Mr. Leombruni.
